At West View, we work with each resident and his or her family to create individual lifestyles and personalized services to meet specific needs and interests. This means residents can do what they want and accomplish what they want. Most importantly, person-centered care places our residents in the center of the care process and is consistent with our commitment to ensuring growth and learning no matter individual ability.
Five dining rooms benefit our residents in many ways. The food stays warm (or cold), the ambience is cozier and more like home, this encourages communication and interaction between residents, and the aromas stimulate appetites.
Not just a meal:
- Residents enjoy selecting all of their meals from a menu
- Dining on fine china and linens
- Dining services staff provide elegant meals carefully prepared and graciously served.
- Three nourishing meals prepared and brought to the dining room
- Meals tailored to each resident’s specific nutritional need
- Mealtimes are an integral part of the day for residents
