Bonnie HallPresident, LNHA
Bonnie Hall joined the team at West View Healthy Living in March of 2014.
She has over 28 years of experience in the long term setting and has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 1996. Both of Bonnie’s parents were also Licensed Administrator’s, so you could say her career came naturally.
Bonnie graduated from Wooster High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology from Bowling Green State University with a focus on Long Term Care Administration.
She resides in Wayne County with her Husband John and their three active children. Bonnie enjoys the opportunity to meet new faces and also strengthen the bonds with those she comes in contact with daily.
Bonnie firmly believes in Resident Centered Care and is excited to lead the team at West View Healthy Living with a strong focus on the mission and values of West View.
Doug SauerVice President of OperationsShow Bio
Doug SauerVice President of Operations
Doug Sauer joined the team at West View Healthy Living in October of 2015 after completing his Administrator in Training program that he started under Bonnie Hall in April 2015.
Before joining the team at West View, Doug worked in various institutional pharmacies over 20 years. Institutional pharmacies provide medications for long term care providers such as West View Healthy Living. During his career, Doug in various positions including Operations Management, Director Of Human Resources, Director of Operations Excellence, and Manager Of Account Services.
Doug graduated from The College of Wooster and received his Masters in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace.
Doug is very excited to be back in Wooster and to be a member of this team. Having been so involved with numerous nursing facilities throughout the state of Ohio, he is well aware of how special this community is and he is honored to be part of it. He enjoys the diversity of tasks associated with a Continuing Care Retirement Community

Cheryl PattersonVice President of Clinical Services
Cheryl obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from O.S.U. After working in the specialty of orthopaedics in Columbus and Cleveland, she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
More than 40 years of acute care experience was focused on Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation, Pain Management, and Operating Room nursing. Cheryl has worked in Hospitals and Health Care Systems in Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron, Cleveland, Greater Detroit, and Ann Arbor. She has held various management positions such as Orthopaedic Service Line Director, System Director of Pain Management & Rehab, Vice President of Clinical Services, and Chief Operating Officer of Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs).
She has conducted research studies in these clinical areas. Her doctoral dissertation explored quality of care outcomes relative to nursing staff resources. Her published articles and edited book chapters include topics of: nursing diagnoses, nursing care economics, clinical outcomes, orthopaedic service lines, orthopaedic post-op care, and pain management.
Cheryl obtained her Nursing Home Administrator’s License in 2018 and joined the team at WVHL in September 2018.

Theresa Ketler joined the team at West View Healthy Living in May 2012. She has over 30 years of experience in long term care facilities and has been a Director of Nursing for 6 years. Prior to becoming a Director of Nursing, Theresa held many different positions including developing and directing a long term care Traumatic Brain Injury rehabilitation unit for 8 years.
Theresa became Director of Nursing for the entire campus here in July 2015. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and developed West View Healthy Living’s memory care program” Connecting Seasons”.
Theresa is passionate about providing excellent person centered care and proclaiming The Good News of the Gospel to any who will listen!

Dr. John K. MillerMedical Director
In addition to serving as our Medical Director for more than 25 years, Dr. Miller has been with his current private practice, Milltown Family Physicians, since 1980.
He is also an active member at Wooster Community Hospital, and his professional organizations include: Wayne County Medical Society, Ohio State Medical Association, Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

As Director of Development and Public Relations, Tammy will be working to increase awareness about the exceptional care and services that are provided at West View Healthy Living. She will also oversee all fundraising and marketing activities to further enhance our mission in the community.
In addition, she assists with new program development, while always focusing on ways to enchance the quality of life for seniors.
She resides in Wayne County with her husband, Matt.

Erin HillBusiness Office Manager
Erin has been with West View Healthy Living since February 2000. She has over 20 years’ experience in the medical field business, she previously worked for a doctor’s office and a medical billing agency.
As our Business Office Manager, Erin manages the office staff and oversees and manages the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and the Medicare/Medicaid/Insurance billing.
Erin strives to be a good resource for families and residents with their financials needs and questions. She is very helpful with the transitioning of payer changes and provides a good understanding of the process between those changes.

Pastor Kirk Fairhurst became West View’s Chaplain in November, 2013. He has worked 20 years as as Pastor and Faith based ministries leading worship, teaching and shepherding of which many of those were in senior care.
Pastor Kirk’s desire is to encourage Christ-centered, spiritual life among the Residents, their families, staff and visitors.

Nikki Evans has worked in the health care field for 6 years in various positions including housekeeping, life enrichment, human resources and admissions.
She joined West View in 2014. She truly enjoys her role as admission coordinator and helping individuals and families during this transitional time in their lives

Bethany Gerber joined the West View Healthy Living team in September 2013. She has been a Licensed Social Worker for 15 years with a focus on adults with severe mental illness and long term care.
She graduated from Akron University with a degree in Social Work and has lived in the Wayne County area her entire life.
Bethany is a strong advocate for our Residents.

Jenn began her career with West View Healthy Living in May of 2019. She has been working in the Food Service and Catering field for over 14 years. She graduated from Cuyahoga Community College with an Associates in Business Management in 2015 and is currently working on CDM at Stark State. Jenn is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to West View and looks forward to providing great meals to our residents and their families.
Jenn and her daugther reside in Medina.

Carla began working at West View in 2005 as a Housekeeper/Laundry aid. She was promoted to Director of the Department in 2011. Carla has commercial cleaning experience that includes factory, office, and hospitality she also worked as an assistant manager at Hardees Restaurants for several years.
Carla graduated from The Wayne County Schools Career Center with a certificate in clerical services and The University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
She is also a Registered Executive Housekeeper and a member of the International Executive Housekeepers Association.

Debbie Williams joined the team as the new Life Enrichment Director at West View Healthy Living in May of 2019. She has over 20 years experience working with the senior population; havimg worked in Continued Care Retirement Communities, stand-alone Independent Communities, hospital-based care and Senior Centers. Debbie is also a trained medical assistant and phlebotomist.
Debbie graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation. She is certified in Music and Memory and most recently completed training to be a Dementia Live Coach.
She is honored to be the Life Enrichment Director and have the opportunity to be with our residents. She believes in offering the residents an opportunity to build memories, providing stimulating activities to enrich their life, their mind and their quality of life.

Dan Wintrow is our Information Technology Coordinator at West View Healthy Living. Dan has spent his entire career with West View, starting in High School as a dishwasher and moving up to a Dietary Supervisor position while in college.
After a brief time working in Human Resources, Dan returned to Dining Services to follow his passion for hospitality and providing top quality home cooked food. He obtained his certificate as a Certified Dietary Manager in April, 2009 and later graduated from The University of Akron in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Amanda McDuffie is our Unit Manager for Assisted Living and Memory Care. She has been a nurse since 2000 and began working at West View in 2006.
In addition, she is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and assisted in the development of our “Connecting Seasons” Program for memory impaired residents.
Amanda is a native of Wayne County and lives in Orrville with her husband and children.

Brandi has worked in the healthcare field for over 12 years. She began as an STNA in 2006. She completed her education and graduated with BSN from Ashland University in 2016. While in college, she participated in two medical/nursing mission trips while visiting Peru and the Dominican Republic.
Brandi thoroughly enjoys helping others and believes in “Paying it Forward”.
She began her career at West View in 2018, and loves the opportunity to learn and keep her skills up to date!

Angie DidingerUnit Manager - Easton
Angie Didinger joined the West View Healthy Living team in October of 2017 and just newly became the Unit Manager for Easton. She has over 10 years of experience in long term care. Before coming a unit manager, Angie held many different positions within the healthcare field. She started by working at home with her own grandparents and decided that this was a field she wanted to pursue. She went to the Wayne County Schools Career Center and received her STNA license. After working as an STNA, she decided to pursue a nursing degree. She obtained her LPN from the Wayne County Schools Career Center in 2012, and then her RN degree from Stark State College in 2018. Angie plans to finish her BSN in the near future.
Angie is passionate about her residents and provides them with a compassionate and caring place to live.
